Butler began shooting The Stranger Within with Estella and William Baldwin, the psychological thriller in Mallorca, in November 2011. The film was also set to shoot on location in Copenhagen Denmark and New York City.She became part of the film, an independent one Treachery featuring Michael Biehn which began filming in Los Angeles in June 2012.
